Check out this pic of one of the futuristic bikes from the upcoming movie, The Island. If you go through the gallery, you'll see pics of some of the cars too. Pretty nice.

Looks like an early Evo 88 with a Yamah fuel tank and a Buell rear-section. HD's look good no matter what the era. Love the scooter and the forum.

you otta see the other bike the Confederate made in the current issue of the motorcyclist mag....the Wraith..try to get pix

Blueknyt

ok, the wraith was about Hidious as a bike could get. nothing to do with being a harley at heart either.
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.
Ride Hard...or go home.

Its you Vs the pavement.....who wins today?

although design in '86 and non-running, I still think the Suzuki Nuda is one of the most beautiful bike I have ever seen in any generation.

Screw the Nuda...the Falcorustyco was a total pimp and far superior.  Shorter wheelbase, lighter bike, hydrolic 2 wheel drive (a LOT less complicated than the Nuda's shaft driven setup), less generic looking, and it had triggers on the handlebars...how cool is that?

tussey

wow, how the hell did you find this thread mack?

although both those bike look cool, well at least original. Do they still make new futuristic concept bikes nowadays? Someone should post pics.

They put mirrors on the first Nuda, which is silly.

makenzie71

It's not silly...the Nuda was street-legal. The Falcorustyco didn't even have a real motor...had more potential, in my opinion, though.

The do still make futuristic concept bikes...same with cars...but people don't dig the styling anymore.  I mean by 1988 the Corvette was supposed to look like this:

People got tired of it...because the cars never looked like that.

Anyway, here are some of my favorite recent concept bikes:

Honda NAS...one of my favorites with the 996cc VTR engine.

A wierd thing some kid conjured up...

Kawasaki's ZZR-X (which is a real bike, but I couldn't find good photo)

Victory Vision 800...which is also a working model

Yamaha's MT-03 concept adventure bike

KTM's 990 RC8 Venom

Yamaha's VOX

There's some sweet Harley and Ducati concepts floating around, too, but you can't get all too hyped about the future-factor with harley and Ducati.  They have this crazy habit and actually building their concpet bikes and selling them to the public (V-Rod, NightRod, Superbike, and Hypermotard...for example...)

Here is to hoping the RC8 gets sold in the U.S.

Since Victory purchased KTM, I'd say the odds are greater than they once were.

Many of the ancients believe that Jake D was made of solid stone.

The public version of the RC8 is already scheduled for production...but it doesn't look aNYTHINg like the RC8.
