at a stop, rev to 10K in 1st gear while holding the clutch.  release clutch as fast as you can.

Sometimes I take my hand off the bar to adjust the mirror while riding.

You don't find a lot of "badboyz & stuntaz" discussing stoppies and whatnot here.

suzuki10 is talking about these MF's http://www.geocities.com/icyhotstuntazz/

You might want to do a search on here for  :guns: IcyhotStuntaz!  They are the illest bad boys of street bikes out there, (yo)!   (they also have tips for how to wear the hottest bling, and how to talk the talk. Check it out.

If you want to learn to "stunt", get a 4 stroke 100cc dirtbike from the early 90s or 80s for 400 bucks and alot of band-aids. You can learn to wheelie, endo, turn while endoing and land and zoom off. Just remember your gonna hurt yourself alot and you'll be ok   :)  :)

I agree with the post above...dirt bikes are an easier and cheaper way to learn how to stunt.

What are you trying to do?  Wheelies, stoppies, burnouts, what?  Do some searches, stunting is beat to death on the internet.

...and learn how to do this before trying to learn how to stunt...

i feel dizzy all of a sudden after that clip  :? how the hell does he remember where he's supposed to go?  :dunno:
"f*ck with the bull, you get the horns"
baldor 1/2  fairing, progressives, 13T sprocket(now a 15T), Katana rear shock, Bob B advancer, R1 tailights, wileyco slip on, Srinath clip-ons, rejet, and flange, K&N lunchbox, and so on and so on and so on...........................

goat

wow, that was really cool. There is something to be said for a lighter, smaller bike. Can you imagine a larger bike trying to do that? I smell a new ad campaign for the GS coming on. The only problem is that now someone would have to learn how to do that on a gs instead of a honda...

So this doesn't get too far off topic...

Personally, I don't have an interest in stunting but I think that there are a few members who know more. I believe that there is a stunting site in Mat's signature. Just search for any of his posts and you should find it. Good luck, just don't become one of those asshats who does stunts in freeway traffic :thumb:

i think it's a VFR500...a bit lighter than our GS...
but still...give me a 250 and i still wont' be able to do that...

alot of stunting haters here

Stunting on the GS is hard with stock parts..

Stoppies/endos - I suggest modding to two rotors for the front brakes and stainless lines.... at the VERY LEAST atleast get some SS brake lines, you will be able to have more control on your braking. It takes away the squichy feeling so you'll have more feel in your braking, which will be alot of help. If you have cash to put into it you could also look into making the front suspention better with springs or spacers or a front end swap while your modding to a two rotor front anyway.

Wheelies - lots of mods will help in it.. exhaust, jetting, advancers, etc etc.. so whatever mod will help in the low/mid range to bring it up and keep it there. Slower more controled wheelies may require you to go to different gearing. Also reducing pressure in the rear tire will help.

All this goes to say the GS in definitely not a prime choice for stunting. If its all you can afford to use for stunting, then hopefully your a DIY person, because theres alot of stuff to mod to have it stunt well. Another thing you'd want to think of is a crash cage for the motor and frame sliders.

Burnouts = higher rear pressure, cheap tires. Their pretty self explanatory to do.

I personally dont stunt my bike at all exept for stoppies here and there.... I have an older 50cc dirtbike for my stunting/motard racing fun.. which will very soon become a "sleeper" bike 8)    8)

Ill go out in the next few days and get some pics of some wheelies.  It might be this weekend, depending on when I can get out and have time.

my 2 cents.....

On stunts.... i know I will come off sounding as a fuddy duddy, but please dont do them, esp on public streets and highways. Not only is it illegal, usually results in a ticket for "unlawful exhibition of speed" or "wreckless or careless driving", but it is also dangerous!!!!! I cringe every time I see someone on a bike do a wheelie at 150mph while on the interstate.

Don't get me wrong, the little boy in me thinks it looks neat, but then the dad side of me says "that was stupid"

aside from the fact that the GS just really isn't made for that, there is enough pleasure in just riding, and enjoying being on two wheels.

Just my opinion.

Well I know one thing "I AM NOT GOING TO TIP TOE THROUGH LIFE, ONLY TO ARRIVE SAFELY AT DEATH".  Go and stunt, just be smart about it.  Wear your gear.

Blueknyt

Stunt, but do it safely and SMARTLY.

Its not illegal to do it in an abandoned parking lot IF you get permission from property owners.  take pains to keep others safe, and property from being damaged and even the Cops might just watch the show.

Know State Troopers and other LEO's to watch or Radar races/stunters as they were trying to be safe and smart about it and away from traffic
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.
Ride Hard...or go home.
