ok so my bike has no decals. when I ride with people im usually one of the first to get compliments on my bike from anyone.  

they always ask what kind of bike is that?
is that a 900cc or somthing?

now take it for granted these arent hard bike enthusiasts that know much about bikes but I still think its fun that people think i have this amazing bike. now dont get me wrong I love my gs and I do think its amazing .

when I tell people its a gs500 by suzuki theyre like really? that is sweet!! it looks alot bigger than i thought it would be and it sounds AWESOME!

Im thinking about street fighter headlights like the buells at some point too. then they will really be confused haha

anyone else had these experiences with there decal-less bikes?

I just get funny looks, because my bike sounds like an angry bee.

I've had a few people tell me that my bike looked like a much more expensive BMW or Ducati- Non-riders of course.  But I'm glad that our naked GS500 benefits from the same naked, basic looks of some of those bikes.  I think a decal or two adds to the looks of the bike so I kept my suzuki stickers on, but if I didn't have them I could easily impress some people by adding an aprilia of BMW sticker to the side of the tank.  Maybe I could make my own italian label TEORIO type R  

Yea I have been told a variety of things too.  One guy thought it was some new model Suzuki that had just come out, I told him it was a 93 and he about fell over.  Another insisted it was a Buell, even after I showed him the Suzuki emblems on the engine he still insisted.  Some people give me a good chuckle, havent had many of the same comments since I put some stickers on it though.

....I've gotten some funny comments about my SV from people.....but the best was:

"Nice bike....looks just like the 'busa I want!"(sure it does)

that guy took the dumbass award on the spot!!!
