can someone suggest a good place to purchase a k&n stock air filter replacement (the one that goes into the stock air box)?

and also, i need a suggestion for a decent (read: good, but cheap) torque wrench for the gs.   i have to tighten everything, but i'd hate to strip bolts.

The best 2 online prices (out of the 5 or 6 I checked) are:
    $44.99 from Chaparral

$45.95 from MAW (Search for 11755 or SU5589)[/list:u]

I can't tell you much about the "clicker" style wrenches, except that they don't seem to be very useful for low torque values.  The beam-type wrenches are cheaper, and have worked fine for me.  Here's a link to the Craftsman wrench I recommend (and the cheapest one, too!)

If you don't need one right away you might try waiting for the inevitable SALE!

For the smaller stuff you really need an Inch pound torque wrench, most footpound start at 10 but really dont register too well, and anything below that is guessing, i know, i snaped 5 case half bolts guessing the settings. went out and spent 25$ on the real tool.

    Hey Crash ...
You can wash the stock filter in gas and re use it. Maybe 2-3 times + ... K&N in airbox just for reusability is overkill ... You should rejet with that for sure too ...
    Cool.

Yea a clicker style wrench is useless below 10lbs.  I tightened up all my oil pan and side cover bolts yesterday and couldnt tell when the damn things were tight, you really need to pay attention if you using one of those wrenches in that situation.
