That's funny!

I think their information listing 01,02 models is incorrect. I cannot see where any gadget would plug into an 01,02 wiring.  03+ yes, but nothing prior.

Through 2002 it is the same simple circuit:
3 wires from sig gen -> ignitor ->x2 -> HV coils ->x2-> plugs

An additional possibility is with 03+, the neutral switch feeds into the ignitor.  IF (BIG IF) the 03+ neutral switch has gear information feeding to the ignitor, MAYBE this is where the G-pack gadget goes to alter the information the ignitor gets. Dgyver probably right about the resistor. From another thread, we are discussing gear indication circuits for the GS. A Gixxer has a variable resistance gear indication information in that switch.

The G-pack has two wires in the connector pictured above...the schematic indicates two wires from the neutral switch to the ignitor. Again, SPECULATION on my part.

This does seem like a LOT of $ if is just a resistor. Tell you what, give me half the $ and I will give you two resistors!   Twice the value!

God save us from LED turn signal mods!
