Well I think I have my GS sold now. I bought a Buell XB9SX CityX yesterday. What a torquey beast! I will drop in here from time to time. Take care everyone.

Nice dude... congrats.

Post up some pics and a review once you've broke it in a little.

J-E-A-L-O-U-S. . . Whhhhhhhaaaa!!!

Rate the GS's acceleration on a scale of 1 to  10 and then rate the City X on same scale.

Then rate braking and stability.  Oh, and ease of riding in town and on the highway.

Congrats!

The City X is a cool looking bike. Enjoy it! My friend has an XB12 Lightning and gets it to some impressive angles on the street. And he came from a cruiser !

I hope you do not have the problems that all of the other Buell owners have complained about.
Common sense in not very common.

Congrats!  Any pics?  I read about this bike is Sport Rider or Motorcyclist not that long ago.  It looked cool in the mag.

Jango, congrats on an excellent choice (envy envy). Make sure to join up with the Badweatherbikers forum. Great people on there and a whole lot of info on Buells. Eric Buell seems to go very far in ensuring that people who ride his stuff are happy. Don't worry about problems with your new beast...it's all a myth. The Buell's are some of the most dependable bikes on the planet. From what I understand the biggest problem riders have is getting used to the quickness of the steering. It's like riding a bicycle with a torque-monster motor. Man I love HD and Buell bikes   . Love the Baby G and this forum.

PS....I wanna see some pics!!  :)

Those are really only associated with the tube frame Buells and not the XB's from what I've heard

Congrats on the new bike!

Thanks everyone. I have only been on it up and down the road here a few times, but I love it so far. The power is awesome and the sound is great of course. I will miss the GS though. It has been a great bike and I have learned to ride well on it. I do not feel like  the bike was outgrown by me, but I guess I wanted to experience something different. Me and a friend of mine rode some with a guy last summer and he had a firebolt. I went around the block on it one night and was floored by the torque and of course the mechanical music coming out of that thing at the stoplight made me drool. All of you take care.

I think those things are like 985cc... practically 1000.....  tiny too.

I would be concerned about buell reliability... but I'm really brand 'elitist'... if they make a really horrible  buell I wouldn't give them my money even if they made a good one

I'll try to get you guys some pictures later today or tomorrow. My digital camera is not working well these days, but I will see if I can post one to the Wall of Fame, and then they can take them down after you guys get a chance to see it.

Sweet! Good for you! Can't wait to see pics.

Decided to hang on to the GS. My step father wants it to ride around some. I am glad it will still be around.

The GS will make an excellent back-up bike.
