I was trying to ory that sticker up with a screwdriver and all sorts of stuff and it just wasnt doin

Hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer or try it when the bike has been running for a while.  That'll loosen up the adhesive.  Then clean off all of the old adhesive with some laquer thinner or something.
