I powdercoated the wheel with a near chrome silver and a lollypop blue top coat.  It looks really great in direct light.

The tail section is great.  I am waiting to have a buddy of mine who does seats to make a pad for it.

To brace the swing arm, you would need to weld something on, or replace it with one that already is.  IMHO the stock swing arm suffers more from weight than ridgidity.  

The complete front end was replaced.  The only part from the GS is the steering stem.

I figure I can fashion a seat pan and then have my grandma (who is a seamstress) cover it for me.

Not much to show or talk about. A lot of time has been spent on the mold making with little to show for it.

Here is the master for the 01+ race tail. Trying to find the time to prep it to pull a mold.


The master of the lower for the full fairing is finished. Working on the finish coat of paint so it will have a smooth surface to pull a mold from. I may add a teaser pic later to this post.


For those that have not seen it, here is the latest addition to my bike. It is a RGV swingarm. I have a Bandit 600 wheel that I will use just need new 150 rubber after I wearout the couple of 140 rears that I have.


oh yeah........I did add an Ohlins steering damper

The 01+ does not fit the 89-00 tank.
There is a different one for the 89-00 which is the same as what is on D-Day's bike in a earlier post in this thread.

are the 89-00 tails done yet? either way i definately want one. let me know when they r ready and i'll send the money right off to ya.
