I recently purchased this bike as an upgrade from my little DR200.

Greetings to our new friend from the Maple Leaf land! I envy the other markets; they got the 03+ version before the states. Many new features to enjoy.

Have you checked out www.gtamotorcycle.com yet?  It's usually a great place to hook up for rides and technical questions, etc., but lately it's full of know-it-alls who do nothing but flame others.
