Well finnaly found one! it was at one of the dealers that told me he dosnt stock the GS  :? , But for some reason he had two (one black on the showroom floor and a blue one still in the crate) I didnt waste any time
trying to figure out why he suddenly had them in stock and went ahead and purchased the blue one right out of the box. Should be all ready for me tuesday to pick up. Pretty excited to get rolling after I take the MSF course. Going to spend the next couple weeks before the msf shopping for gear..

Ill try to post some pics once I get it home!

There's nothing quite like that new motorcycle smell is there?

We've discussed the dealer reluctance to stock anything other than high end bikes in other threads here. It makes me wonder if a dealer could specialize in the "cheap to insure" and below 600 cc hardware and still make a living?

I guess it really would depend on the market/demand. Of course demand does not equal intelligent buying.  :)

Welcome and congradulations!
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I remember when I went looking for an 05 GS, it took me like 10 minutes to find it, it was in a far corner of the store behing liter bikes. The dealer was the same way, he had the black out and a blue in the showroom.
