Im looking for some new tires to put on my gs500e. Its a 93 so I dont wna put 2 much money into it. I have a 2004 gsxr-600 and that my real baby, the gs500e is just a bike I use to get around town. I wna get some tires for it. I dont wna spend much money. It still has the stock tires on it. Any suggestions? Online store. Thanks

I've gotten best service from Chaparral, AMT is slower.

The Avons are probably the best of these and worth the difference.

I was in the same boat as you (except without the GSX-R, ha!), and got the ProMaxx.  I didn't want to buy radials, then risk getting a nail in them the next week.   I second the recommendation of Chaparral.  Some of the tire mail-order shops are a cut below the typical motorcycle mail-order shops.

With the Promaxx tires already on the bike, I may just go on buying them.  Bu if I were starting over, I'd try the Avon 51/52.  

Note: safety is really important, and the Bridgestone BT045 is the probably the best tire for around-town riding.
