Terrible Movie, nice bikes and they do make fun of fast and the furisous but other than that awful movie.

I agree.  The only good part of the movie is the bikes, and the first 10 mintues where they are actually riding corners.  I wish that we hadn't wasted the money to go see it.

I liked Biker Boyz about 10 times more.  That last scene in Torque was so dumb when they were riding like mock 10 through traffic fighting.  Both movies were pretty awful though.  

But have have both Fast & Furious movies on DVD (and I'm a 30 year old professional).  I know.  I know.  But I like them!!!  

Eva Mendez (the girl in FF2) is probably the hottest girl on the planet next to Lindsey Lohan.

I saw On Any Sunday for the first time about 23 years ago.  

Faster is cool, but can't you get all the MotoGP you need by playing PS2?

If you think of Torque as a "Motorcycle Movie", you gotta put the emphasis where it belongs.

It isnt MOTORCYCLE movie.

It's motorcycle MOVIE  

All popular movies are just archtypes. The details stay the same, but they are all rarel original unfortunately. But there is no reason to knock Torque or any of those movies. They don't claim to be the source of all that is bike, just something entertaining to watch.

You're right.  I didn't mean to knock those movies.  I liked all of them really, and I was entertained during all of them.  Some I like more than others, but I sat there on my ass and watched them, just the same, and laughed, and sometimes cried.  And lusted after hot chicks cool bikes.  Lots of lusting.

Personally, I didn't think it was that bad of a movie. The keyword there is "movie". It's what I'd classify as "good crap". You know it's complete poop, but it's still somewhat enjoyable.

It was worth 5 bux to see him dust the two rice-mobiles in the first scene  :lol:

it was all downill after that.... but still fun. Torque is NOT a documentary...  it's called 'suspension of disbelief'... try it sometime, it makes movies alot more fun to watch  

I love unbelieveable movies and action flicks.  

Right now, if you looked at my DVD collection, you'd see such gems as: xXx, Spiderman 2, Fast & Furious I & II, Big Trouble in Little China, Hellboy, and other crappy films.  I love 'em.

But you HAVE to admit, Biker Boyz is better than Torque.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the S&S 156 incher. We all should get together and make our own bike movie..."We don't need no stinkin' torque" . Srinath, Dgyver and Starwalt could be the crazy wrenches, Davipu and Joerocker the antagonists, Kerry the hero, and the rest of us...well the rest of us could just be the idiot followers. :lol:  Love my little GS, Asia, and the forum.

I thought Torque was OK, because it didn't take itself too seriously.  It was supposed to be a bit of fun and that's the way it was played.  As long as you realised most of what they were doing could only ever be done as movie stunts and didn't try them at home...
I watched it with my wife, who is a Lit major.  She was intrigued, and amused, to realise the film has ALL of the hallmarks of a romance novel!
So there you go- it's not a motorcycle film, it's a Mills and Boon on a backdrop of motorcycles.  :lol:
Biker Boyz, however, took itself far too seriously and wound up looking like a complete toss, despite the more believable riding sequences.
