i took apart the carbs hard core and sprayed all kinds of fun stuff out of them. put it together and it growles to life, firing on both cylinders!

there may still be somthing wrong, it didn't seem to be running real well, but heck, it runs, so i'm happy.

i've got a place down the street that speacilizes in suzuki bikes (big turbo busa's) and they have a dyno. i dunno it would be fun to have them fiddle with it and dyno it. just to know how much AWE inspiring power i am making on my beat up rat bike. i wonder how  much $ it would cost?

i'll take the bike out tonight and post again at some point.

thanks for all the suggestions and tips form all the members that allowed my to narrow down what was killing my bike.

love the forum.
The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

Have them synch the carbs before your run.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
