M2 exit test in Ontario

Has anyone taken the test in the last couple years that could tell me what is on the M2 exit test?  What are the most important things to know?  If you have a copy of your test maybe you could scan it for me and e-mail it(you can cover up your score if you like).  I'm planning to do the test in 3 weeks and some pointers would be great.

Here in Ontario (Canada) we have graduated licensing.  The M2 exit test is the one you take to get your full license.  Right now I have a M2 licence but you have to get your full M license within 5 years or you have to redo your M2.

Here you can get a learners permit and go buy an R1.  No wonder insurance is so damn high on litre bikes.  Lord knows I pay dearly for it.

It's the same here though.  Our graduated licensing does not restrict you at all on horsepower.  Come to think of it, it just seems like a money grab to make you pay more than once.  The only restriction I have with an M2 license is that I must maintain a 0 blood alcohol.  Once I get my M license I can drink and drive ... finally!  (just kidding).  The only restriction with a learners permit (M1) is that you have to stay off major highways and cannot take a passenger.

Oh, well the 0 alcohol isn't a bad idea at all.  I just ass-umed that it was a cc restriction.  Silly me  :oops:

Take a course, it costs about 300$ but you save money on insurance and you get your license at the end of the course, there is one for M1 to M2 and from M2 to M, and it's fun!  :cheers:

I got my M license last September with RTI.

Basically, you will ride in both residential and commerical area.  Ride in proper lane position.  Always, left and right shoulder check when making turns (left or right).  Always look around and watch out for school, church, cross walk, fire station, hidden intersection.  Check mirrors before and after intersection.

Good advice.  I did take the course for the M2 test an I am enjoying the break on insurance.  It has paid for itself many times over in saved insurance premiums and it was also well worth the money in terms of saving my a$$.  My understanding is that there is no further reduction in premiums if you take another course so I am cheaping out on the M2 exit course which was about $400.

Cool, thanks for the advice.  Do they mark you on front brake use ie two fingers vs all fingers.  I use two fingers so I can run the throttle for downshifting with my last two fingers.  I assume also that breaking the speed limit is automatic failure?

how you grab the handle bar doesn't matter.. they probably can't see it from behind.

Yes, any traffic violation is fatal!  Stop sign, no right turn sign, one vehicle out in intersection for turning left, fail to stop for cross walk, stay in gear during traffic stop, brake light on when stop..
