but what amazes me is that people actually pay and bid up these auctions...

i think everybody knows by now that 'save toby' is a gag page.  The day of the execution rotates to stay ahead by a few months, and the 'counter' showing the money paid is an image, not a counter.

and as for the others, most of them end with the high bidder refusing to pay (as in the runaway bride-toast image auction) or it turns out to be goldenpalace.com trying to get their name in the news.  

And to think I am having a hard time getting rid of some new DVD's on Ebay and tapes and this tool makes money claiming to change his name

sure, it's an image but the link is real...the account must have been active otherwise it would have been shut down by paypal... :dunno:

yeah i think paypal shut him down when they found out about his massive "donations"
