i don't know if this has been suggested, but maybe someone (srinath?) could make a video for carb work the way Kerry made one for valve adjustments?

no, it whould just make more problems....

I could ... but OK here is one reason its not as easy/useable as the Valve adjustment video ... OK more than 1 ...
1. Its not a maintenance item - no monthly or every 3500 miles etc ...
2. Carb parts are tiny and I guess a good camera will show it well, but someone needs to shoot it ... close up's and angles etc ...
3. Descriptions and text are just as good in most cases ... Trouble shooting is more important. The fix is usually easier.
4. Yea I dont have the organisation skills that I will need to make one of those ... OK atleast not without the wife.
OK there was a small clip john made about washering the needle ... its a good one. A few more clips and we'd have the basics done. The harder and tricky ones are best left to text and pics ... instead of a video.
