I like the song Vidalia by Sammy Kershaw, which is about a woman named Vidalia who makes a man cry all the time, and he says, "Vidalia, would you stop livin up to your name.", so I guess since I liked the name and the song, and the woman was named after Vidalia onions, technically, I guess I did name it in honor of the onions. Sometimes I refer to her as "the red head." I have yet to find an official name though.

well i stated in the initial post that i have no name.  i usually name my vehicles but havent come up w/ anything good for the bike.  it has to be earned imo.

But I did have a GF I still think fondly of who happened to be named Suzy, so I always think of her when I look at my bike.

She had nice twin cylinders too, but they were probably more like a 1400cc than 500cc :mrgreen:

Christy is the bike. Melissa is the car - blue RX-8.

I just call mine Little Girl Blue or the little blue engine that could.  Once I called it Gixxy, but when I saw that stupid website I stopped.

usually i call mine either jezebel, or my gf, either way got to put money into her, or if i dont touch the right buttons, or talk to her nice, i dont get nothin  

I just call mine "the bike", as opposed to "the car" or "the bus".

When I'm riding my white '89 GS at 8/10+, "white knuckles" sometimes seem apropos, as "I turn a whiter shade of pale" . Hey! I've got it! I call my bike "Procol Harum"

I have yet to name her......

My Neons name is baby,  My Kia name is Buddha Loves You(in a good way  ), and my old truck is called blackie.

I do not think my wife has named her Civic, but she does call it P.O.S. quite often. :mrgreen:

Hubby suggested the name for my GS ("Sandra") after riding her home from where we bought it for me, and after shuttling it to practice areas for me a few times.  I thought about it after riding it for awhile and it seemed to fit well.

His Hondas ('81 CB750F and '01 919) are Hoshi and Harriet, his car is Gerda (VW Golf), and my car (Toyota Matrix) is Isabelle.  

A friend of mine has a 250 Ninja named "Frenchie" :lol:.

Alfie, one of my friends say's it's usually in my pictures but often hard to spot like Alfred Hitchcock in his movies.

i'm not too good at naming vehicles. i need to think of an approprite name for my bike, any suggestions?
