help me justify getting the dremel tool...

uses i think would be:
-fenderectomy
-shortening of signal stalks
-slicing off throttle tube to fit pro-grip
-removing the tab at the rear tail to fit r1 lights
-cutting off a u-lock the PO left attached to my passenger pegs (no keys) :x

i know u all found a lot of good things to do with this tool...

rounded off nuts, polishing parts, cutting links on the chain (if need be)  or if you really get bored, you can put your name on every nut and bolt on the bike.  :thumb:
People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.

Kerry, you are THE MAN!

I'm constantly amazed by the amounts of links you post in almost every thread you contribute to.

Stunned...

I used it to grind rust off my exhaust prior to repainting it.
I'm in the process of using it to fabricate some mounts for a dual headlight setup (don't worry, Kerry, I'll post pix when it's done).
Used it to cut away some material on a windscreen I ebayed that I never ever use.

You'll find a million ways to use the dremmel.

You don't need excuses to justify any tool, you can't have too many tools, it's a non-concept like too much fun. A Dremmel is useful for so many things that you just did not expect, you'l find loads of uses for it.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

I used mine to shorten the stock spacers of the sv650 turn signals when I was installing them on the GS500.   Plastic is hard to work with because ou have to make sure you go at a speed that doesnt melt / burn the plastic

You never need an excuse to get a Dremel!

(Or a Craftsman rotary tool, if you're a cheap bastard like me.)

Cutting, drilling, polishing, hard-to-reach stuff; you'll use it.

dgyver

Could not cut carbon fiber nicely without one.
Common sense in not very common.

also good for torturing folks a al "the Marathon Man" with Dustin Haufman...although I think that guy used a dentist's drill.

forgot to mention sharpening lawnmower blades and other yard tools.  Dremmel's are freaking amazing.
