Jake, got the bike home on Saturday, waiting on a tank from ebay, need to get the lights hooked up, and the exhaust gasket back on, only has one bolt in.  Congrats on the house, where you living.

dude, I couldn't remember where this thread was.  I live on the Plaza now, but may be buying in Waldo.  

My bike (hopefully) will be good to go soon.  We have to hook up.  I'm stoked.

That would be an interesting feature and useful in an automobile. There's a dude in Calif. selling 6 Wagner 552 for less than $15 on eBay. He had twenty some odd lots for sale. I thought about buying a lot and making them available for GSTwin.com members to save them the trouble of searching for them. I still may do it.

Regarding no blinky, the last resort is doing a good solder job on the connections for the resistor, capacitor, and the other things using the V-pinch connection. If the connection is bad, no blinky.

If the soldering doesn't do it, time for a another relay. Then if still no blinky... :dunno:

The pics are done with an ancient cheap a$$ Fuji 1.3 Mpixel digital camera through a ring light magnifying class. The camera is on a tripod (old Kmart unit) and I compose the shot, set the camera to self timer, and hold still when the beeping starts.

I then transfer the pic to the PC, edit and adjust with MS Photo Editor, save it on my Bellsouth webpage, and then link the webpage URL  with the post editor here on GSTwin. Easy, huh?  :lol:

I really need a better camera! Roadstergal's and Kerry's new Kodaks are doing a super job of scenic views. Kerry does the close up stuff very well also.

Well, the problem has been fixed with a $1.99 552 relay, put it on and the lights blink!!   Thanks for all your help and suggestions starwalt, I greatly appreciate it, plus my knowledge of how exactly a stock GS500 TSR works impressed my wife and coworkers.   Thanks to you too srinath for the right part number.  Now on to grunt work, removing a broken exhaust bolt.  To anyone that happens to come across this post in the future, a lot of good ideas and help are in here. Perhaps a topic for an FAQ is in order.  I will get that relay to you soon starwalt.  This forum is great!!
