I did a little webpage of the repair of my 120.000km/75000miles engine. It's from my website http://gs500e.free.fr. I re-mount the motor this evening, it work perfectly. The webpage will be updated with the pics of the re-mounting soon.

 Regards from France.

( the page is in french, use http://world.altavista.com to translate )

People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.

Useful page. I like how the job is documented. Picures talk for themselves. The engine is pretty much in good shape despite its age.

here is one that will translate the whole site

Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.
Ride Hard...or go home.

Its you Vs the pavement.....who wins today?

Thats pretty cool, that one gear had some good wear on it.

Hey! Olivieeer!
Glad to hear from you again!

Last I knew from you is that you sold your beloved TZR125, and
that you crashed badly your GS500. That was about two years ago.

Great page! 125000Km is about 3x times what people use to
put in their bike's counter.

I'm currently 62000Km, and experiencing a lot of oil consumption,
low power and low mileage. Just purchased a compression gauge
and a couple of vacuum gauges. After testing I'll think what to do.
Just ordered a couple of Progressive Springs from Srinath!

Marc.

I crashed my first GS500 in 2000 ( 5 years ago ) and i sold my TZR last year. I always have my new full faired GS500 ... pics are on my website. And I bought a yamaha 850 TRX that have 100.000km+ now. This is not a common bike. Pics are also on my GS500 website.
