my bike is not working at all, I went for a drive and she was good for a good while and then just bog out and then i pull over to the road. When she bogs out she doesn't cut back in at all just dies right to a stop. I press the start button and not a thing happening and after about 10 to 20 pushes the bike starts. whats causing this.. Thanks guys

can you explain what you meant by "not a thing happens"? does it even not make clicking noise?

Sounds like the ol' fuel starvation prob, and the reason the bike wont start up right after is because the floatbowls are dry and you need to put the fuel selector on Prime to refill the floatbowls. Try running the bike in Prime to (hopefully) prevent this from happening again. Just remember to switch it to On when you stop.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

i tryed prime im pretty sure same thing. Ya the bike doesn't even make a clicking noise when i presss the start button. How do i hook the Tank straight to the carbs and would this help the problem. Thanks

would it be a coil maybe..  i dunno the bike is doing it all different times,, what should i check over ya think..come on guys please help lol.

Battery/charging system?

Do you have a voltmeter?

With the engine running at about 5k rpm the voltage at the battery terminals should be 13.5 - 15.5 volts.

The Starter switch doesn't work thread should give you plenty to chew on.
