This is the bike I bought from SteveS (see for sale forum).  It has Interceptor forks, which are adjustable and have dual front disc brakes. It also has an Interceptor wheel and fender.  It was recently repainted and has had recent maintenance.  Also has 15 tooth front sprocket.

Looks like you got a steal!  I was going after that bike too, but think I might have found one over in Indiana that is almost as good -- I'm going to see it next weekend.  Congrats!

Welcome! Bike looks great! Is that a 16" front rim? Those forks look like they fit the stock triples.

I don't know if paint was professionally done, it sounded like he did it himself, but I guess I didn't ask him outright.  It might be a 16" wheel, I hadn't noticed before, but in the pictures it does look smaller than the rear, I will measure it.  The forks do fit the stock triples as both stock GS and stock Interceptor forks are 37mm.  The dual disc feels a little "grabby" but that might just be my braking, I don't have much to compare it to. The only other bike I have ridden is the litte 125cc Honda at the MSF Course.  This is the first running bike that I have owned.

The previous bikes I have owned were a 1989 Kawasaki EX500.  There is a long story as to why this bike was never finished, but I will just say that the shop WAAY overcharged their quote on fork seal installation when I just took the bare forks to them, and it was a salvage (nothing really major just fairing and turnsignal).  PA is a difficult state to acquire a Rebuilt title, and I never sent the paperwork in.    So, I sold it to a friend for $300, he knows what he got himself into because he has helped me with a lot of the work I did.

I also own(ed) a ~1976 Yamaha Enduro 125 I got this for free, and could never get it to fire correctly.  The closest I got it to running was "PUH puh puh"   :dunno:    I gave this one away, I didnt have the room for it, and wasn't really worth the hassle.

So far I really like the GS, but am hating the weather right now.
