I'm coming through town,  1/2 a block from the county courthouse, I need to make a left.  The speed limit there is 15 because of lots of pedestrians,  parked cars,  cops coming & going to/from the courthouse.  Anyhow, I'm waiting to make a left at a light in my WHITE F150.  Traffic clears for about 200 yards.  The vehicle coming at me is some huge custom bike.  About 200 yards away in a 15 zone.  I start to make my left just as this dude nails it.  He covered the space between us in about nothing flat.  I stomp on the brakes & hope for the best.  Pickups are not known for quick handling, and I have nowhere to go, so it's a quick stop.  He doesn't see my WHITE PICKUP until he is almost ready to T bone me.  A quick swerve & he passes in front of me by a few inches, probably hitting the triple digits for speed.  He was wearing no gear (I think-- kinda blurry on the way past), but he did have one of those cool kaiser spikes on the top of his salad helmet.
Now I'm in my big truck, I guess if he wants to hit me it's ok.  What about all the people walking around?  What about the cops he just blew past?  Sheez.....

Venting is good

haha, funny you are.
When we were in Dallas for wrestling there was this group of bikes that were pulling out to go opposite the way we were.  They were perpendicular at the time.  All of them got out except one.  He jumped a little and then hit his brakes as he saw a big yellow twinky about to run him over.  Scared our bus driver half to death.  We would of been washing the bus if he would of gone.  Glad to hear you got out ok too.
