ok...it's a rarity when i see other gs on the road (when i'm riding). past weekend, i was riding to west virginia, i spotted TWO gs'! both of them a F model, one yellow, one blue. i would have posted one of those "gs spotted" thread but in the past, the gs riders i've seen on the road are never member of this board!  does this happen to anyone else?

It's pretty much the same around here. I think that I saw 3 in the last year before last month. I think I've seen 5 or 6 (all 04 or 05) in the last month, and I haven't been able to ride for the last 2 weeks.

To the best of my knowlege, there are three members in th Madison area. Only one of whom has an 04, so odds are the people I saw aren't on here.

the best thing I have found is to carry a post it pad and a pen in your riding jacket so when you see one parked you can stick it to thier bike also works great for writing down chicks phone numbers (like that ever happens   ) if you're riding, then unless you're really fast with that pen go chase them down.

There is a GS for sale at the local stealer..
I'll probably be seeing it around town soon..

hmmm...my local stealer had a used F model...it's been sold but never seen it on the road. and i live in a very small town.

Just hunt them down and tell them to join!

I see GS twins... they don't even know they're twins.  They ride around like regular bikes.  They don't see each other.

I've tried that ... not seen a single one of them back here ... some of them buy stuff from me though ... but I find it sad when they dont even know what bike they are riding ...

Yeah, when I was at Dulono's Bike Night, a guy came over and stuck out his hand and said "Klimber".  It took me a minute to figure out that was his screen-name.

I think I've bumped into 3 or 4 GS500s, and all were GSTwin.com members.
Just, not everybody posts every day.

But I don't think I've ever seen an F outside the showroom.
