SS 3030

My engine just started missing (seems like left cylinder) when I just turn the throttle a little above idle when stopped.  I pulled the plugs and they don't appear to be cracked (replaced approx 3K miles ago) and otherwise look fine.  The bike runs smoothly going through the gears, and only seems to miss when warmed up.  Any ideas? Thanks.

yeah you need to do the carb dance, it's a sacred biker dance that you must learn under a full moon out in the desert on a sunday night.

davipu

poway stinks.  up for some hotwings sometime?

scratch

David, are you drunk again?

SS - pull one spark plug at a time and ground it to see if it has spark.

Ah. Would you confirm then that the Dance may be performed Saturday nights in garages the day before raceday, since sundown Saturday night is the Biblical Sunday night?

no, that one is different,  that's the "speedfreak saga" a three part dance that is normally preformed the night before race day, although it can be any day of the week if required, and as long as racign is the next day.  it's normally used to prefect the race bike and break in the new mech.  it's a long and tedius story telling dance usually starting around 5 pm, and ending around 3am, but sometimes as late as 6 depending on the story teller.  the three parts are broken down by the feasting of 6 hour old bbq and warm beer, followed by a midnight streak to the hottub.

Crap, I've been doing it wrong; I've been doing the BBQ before the last minute safetywire has cut into my hands because I'm safetywiring by hand dance til 1am in the morning...
