I am going to try to make this as short as possible.......  I got a 2001 GS500 almost a year ago and I love it.  The bike is very forgiving for newbies.  I have dropped it a couple of times      I am just starting to get totally comfortable with it and riding and the possibilities seem endless right now.  The MSF course helped a whole bunch.  The only mod I have made is a windshield which is worth every penny I payed for it. (I am 5'7 and weigh 120 on a good day and on the interstate I felt like I was going to blow right off the thing)

This website is very cool and has answered quite a few of the questions that I have had.  Thanks to all of you out there.

I live in Indy and have seen a few 500F's but no other naked 500's.  If you are out there somewhere close would love to chat or go for a ride.

Thanks and peace
AJ

What windshield did you buy for it?  I just got an F16 from National cycle and I am not sure yet if I like it.

I am fairly new here as well (check the number of posts).  I live in Greenfield, IN.  If ever a hook up for a Indy ride, I will try to make it for sure.  My first bike, 05' 500F.

I actually have a F15 from National Cycle, which is a little bit bigger than the F16.
