My other question
how long do fork seals last? I replaced them @ 6kmiles and they clearly leak again....or is it that OEM seals are less than reliable?  The fork tubes arn't gouged/scratched.

my bike has 12500 on it and they are fine.  And the person before me totally abused the forks, and we havent replaced them, just put in spring spacers and new oil.

Have not seen him here in a long while since he has been selling off his GS stuff on ebay.

Is that the red one thats on my picture site, I hosted those pics up to help him sell the bike.

yup that's be her....except she has gotten a lime green coat of paint and some air brushing "characters" I tried out....[not toooo bad] looks good but needs mechanical fixes....
