Hey guys/girls Just wanted to state I got my first bike a 1998 gs500. Picked her up today for $2800 cdn with 17,000 kms on it. I cant wait to ride it but im not going to until I take the course which is 400$ here in canada. I'm 17 and im paying $2100 a year for insurance the cheapest which only includes 3rd party and comp. I'm all set and taking the course this weekend. Great site you got here I can't wait to be part if it. Take care.

WOW.. $400. for the course!!.. I hope they teach you backflips and sh&& for that $$$ In my state (Pennsylvania) the course is free ! all you have to do is get your permit.. $10.00 and the permit is good for 1 year of riding

Ya know.. it must be expensive up there

I only payed $1000. for a 95GSE w/ 180 ! yep 180 miles on it

and

Insurance is only $68.00 a year

and

The safety course FREE !!!
