Where to put 'R' Sticker?

So spent 2.50 on some gsx R decals to spice up the look of my bike.  Of course, I've cut off the X so now it only says GS and I've put those where the normal GS500 stickers would be.  The question now is, what do I do with the left over R stickers?  Where is the best place to put them on an unfaired bike (with a buell blast style screen)?
I don't want to get into whether or not it is a stupid "ricer" thing to do.  First of all I like integras and import race cars, but more importantly I think the gs should be allowed to be called an "R", if you've done some modification, especially since the ninja 500 is an "R".

I came here to kick @$$ or chew bubblegum...and it looks like I'm all out of bubblegum.

Where did you get your luggage rack? :)

That would be my type "R" racing luggage rack.... and it came with the bike when I got it used.  Luggage racks aren't really fashionable, but so damn handy.  Plus it adds like 3-5 hp to the bike.

the windscreen is a "holeshot" fly screen.  www.holeshot.com .  But you have to paint it yourself and it is 120 bucks new.  I got mine used.  A new buell one is way cheaper, get that instead, although it may not be considered type "R" if you do.  Plus, it adds like 10 hp to the bike.

I'll give you a staight answer.  Put the 'R' 1/2 in. to 1 in. behind the 'GS' sticker.  Then you have a GS-R or technically it is a GS R or GS  R depending in the inch or half inch.  By the way adding an 'R' must give you like a bajilliun hp, so don't die.

By the way good looking GS R

Dude, all the cool guys are putting the Type R stickers on their helmets now.  It's like a +15 agility rating in Dungeons & Dragons, if you ever get into an accident, you'll be able to Ninja Roll out of the way.... chicks dig it.

You might want to consider a Type R Tattoo.... that's real power....

I'm not really putting the badge on from another more powerful bike.  I'm just borrowing the first two letters  which spell the name of my bike.  If I found a sticker that looked cool and said "HOGS," I would have done what I did to my last GF and dropped the ho, leaving me with alone with my gs.  The "R" can be slapped on anything- it just indicates that the machine is designed for race. People put them on their cars when they've modified them to mimic the real "R" series civics, etc., that are actually made by the factory and sold in japan, but not here.  On a car things like lowering, aluminum wheels, stiffer suspension, race intake and race exhaust might be enough to legitimately lable your car as an R since it is the closest we can get.
I don't think mine is an R yet, so I won't badge it.  I need a belly pan, better suspension, and some better tires first.  I really like the way the R looks, though.  I wish the GS sticker looked red and fast like that.
Now, taking the "ota" so your raised pickup is a "Toy," that is white trash.

Well to get the maximum horsepower increase from the R you need to put in on the rear section of the tail.  I think I read somewhere that this will give you the maximum increase while maintaining the Cheesy Honda Civic to nice bike ratio.

But for real, if you feel the need to make a type R out of it, the rear tail section would be nice if it said GS-R

I am not going to get in to whether or not an R sticker could be stuck on any modified car.....I see R sticker on every damn car with fart can exhaust I pass by and it's ricy to me.....if you really want to customize your bike with decals, see if you can find some one that can make you something one of a kind, that would be cool, cause it would underline that your bike is unique.

ON THE OTHER HAND,  if you really like the way it look you should put it behind GS on a tail section.  So you get another vote for that option :)

I'd say...  In a drawer.   :nana:

No...  Probably just behind the GS...  GS R.

You mean "GS" doesn't stand for "Goes Slow" on your bike?

ScottWV

Best place?

In a refuse container.

Seriously.

Please don't do it.  It's ricey.

(ScottWV remembers that he has a clear tail light and blue LEDs on his fairing   )

Oh, what the hell go for it.

Mk1inCali

GS R...Go to a local sticker shop, bring in all the stickers you have and have them draw something up that looks "fast" and whatever else you want to describe that look with, and have them print you off a few good quality GSR or GS-R or whatever you decide looks best for it.

Or just put the R behind the GS and call it good.  Then go ride.  Then laugh at all the people that think you are on a "slow" bike.

Repeat, enjoy!

I'd suggest putting it forward of the bulge on the sidepanels. But, really, the red will contrast with the color of your bike.

I agree.. My bike is the same color :) as you know))... I dont think that the red looks good on there either  :nono: It jumps out too much.. white ones would prob. be cool. or grey :)

I will still wave to you on the highway either way

It is actually the color contrast I like.  The little s adds a lot in my opinion.  I've decided that what I really want is a bright red, italic E.
