my first bike was a little 250 marauder and after a year of riding i had hit a plateau - not enough power and i was getting kinda bored.  so, i decided it was time to upgrade and got myself a gs500e...

my first ride on the gs was really nerve-racking with the change of seating and power.  but my second time around i got the hang of it and i was having so much fun i didn't want to stop riding  :mrgreen:

 Even after coming from "faster" bikes, I still love my GS.

Granted, its my first season, but I haven't run out of power on my GS yet.  there's always a lower gear if I want to get a little frisky on the highway.
