Insurance depends as much on you as on the bike.  Call companies for quotes.

how old are you? im 17 and for me it would be $5000 for only 3rd party and comp. If i had full coverage its $7500 for an r6. I pay $2100 a year for my gs thats only 3rd party and comp.

I pay $398 a year for full coverage for my 2004 GS500f.   A 2004 R6 was going to be around $1700 a year and a R1 and a Busa was $2397 a year for full coverage.

2004 Katana 600  around $1150

2004 SV650  around $800-900 a year

All quotes were full coverage for a 29 year old male, married,  with a clean DR, and good credit history.

A GS500F and a Ninja 500 were a dollar different on the quotes for me.

Insurance is dependant on a lot of factors.  When I was first bike shopping full coverage on a 600 was $2200.  I got the GS and paid $100 for liability.  Bought the TL1000S and expected to pay lots of insurance, but it si only $430 a year for full coverage.  I was going to buy a GSXR 750 to add to the TL and it would have only cost me an extra $350 for full coverage.  I'm just not sure how they figure stuff, but I'm not complaining right now.

Wow you guys are lucky i pay 140 a month for my gs. I really want a R6 for a second bike but i will probably be 19-20 years old max and probably be paying over $3000 for that R6.   :(  :(  :guns:
