yep , i am looking for some wind protection  :)  
do you think that fairing would fit ?

I dont know if this would apply to the GS, but I will note on the Targa fairing that notches are cut out of the fiberglass for the signal post to fit.

have you checked out the Targa fairing? it is more expesive, but it is a perfect fit.

looks like a bob standard 20cm light fitting fairing, should fit no probs

yes i saw the targa fairing, very nice but out of my budget...
i think i need to search some more info on that fairing...
do you guys know anybody that has it ?

IIRC there is some fettling necessary to make it fit. I thought it was the handlebars hit it just barely...

Take a look at some of the National Cycle windscreens.  The F-15 does a pretty good job.  Good fit.  Several companies carry it and most shops can order it.
