so i was riding with my friend in the canyon, and i we pull over to talk about something. The ground was at a weird slant, so i put the kickstand down. The bike is fine, i get off and start talking to my buddy. Next thing you know it falls over. I had the metal protecters on, so nothing happend to any part except the end of the bar. The little weight got messed up. The screw bent and broke off in there, so i figure i have to tap the screw out and just replace the screw and it should work just fine. Now i am wondering where can i get a replacement for that screw?? and it wouldnt hurt to reuse that bar end considering nothing happened to it right??

Since you have a pre-'01 model, see the info at the very bottom of my Throttle Retainer page.  (Sorry, it's the only item without a picture.  :( )  If you just want to replace the stock screw, take 10mm or so off the recommended screw length.
