i'm in the middle of an exhaust switch and rejet, and i had to ride my half finished bike home from a friends house (about 25 min from home).
i got home at about midnight, and my ears were ringing slightly and my head hurt (and i can't even remember the last time i got a headache).

my exhaust is stock, but it is cut off with a sawz all right where it would normally connect with the muffler can.

i can't say i reccomend this mod because,
A: I am 100% certain that this would cause long term hearing damage, if ear plugs are not used.

B: i'm running some pretty rich jets, and i think i'm leaning out, maybe.

C: it isn't really faster than the "stock" form i bought it in. (this was determined by the fact that it still tops out at 95 mph, on a closed course of course ;)  )

D: did i mention it is REALLY loud? and not like metric cruiser Glug GLug loud, but like built NA drag car Loud (if you know what i mean, awesome. if not, go to a drag strip.)

tomorrow it is going to the exhaust shop, before i get an invitation to join the Harley Owners Group.

You got home at midnight? I bet your neighbours were happy.

I live in the woods, so no neighbors in complaining distance, but my dad was rather relieved when i told him the bike's next stop is the exhaust shop.

Know what you mean, when I was putting on the Wileyco I tried it with just the flange on... Ha that was loud, and really did not sound as deep and throaty as the Wileyco did.

you should get a bigger bike with pipes on both sides. That way you could even out your hearing loss and you wouldn't have to worry about only having 1 good ear

95mph is a little slow for a gs, even in stock form.  Here's hoping that your rejet fixes that.

i was thinking that my wide frame may be hurting my top speed due to wind resistance, but i think that most of my problem is the terrible original state i bought the bike in.  it will get better with time.

and maybe i will lose some weight, and width too.
