Hey i received the parts today in the mail.  i just wanted to say thanks for your wrecked piece of shaZam! motorcycle parts!  I think they would go good next to MY wrecked parts.  

ok so im being extremely  sarcastic as you can tell.  i've been trying to fix my bike for about a month and have had trouble finding these parts.  then i found you.  you  seemed to be giving me a deal so i jumped on it.  

so u tell me u have the parts so i sent the money.  now i can look past the fact that u disappeared for days maybe weeks without saying anything.  it only helped the fact that i couldnt go on the ride that i had been waiting months for.  no big deal. really.  i even told u it was cool but to just SEND THE PARTS!

shortly after (maybe shortly before) you say you sent the parts,  i get this PM.  it explains that the parts arent in perfect condition however they are fully functional and only a little cosmetic damage.  cool. i can deal with that.  

Quotewas looking at the tach and wasn't sure if I told you, so in case you didn't know: One of the two bolts on the back that mounts the tach inside the pod is broken off at the plastic. there is also a small dent in the black trim ring that faces the rider. I have three speedos and one tach, so I tried to swap parts from one of the speedos's to make the tach right, but they design the gauges so that you basically have to destroy it to get inside it. It still works fine and all that, it's just cosmetic stuff really. If you want, i'll go ahead and send it and you can take a look. I think it's still in very useable condition. I'd use it myself, if that helps.

I thought I told you, but I wasn't sure, so I wanted to make sure you knew before you got it. Didn't want any surprises, LOL.

Anyway, let me know if you think it would be a problem, but I don't think it would.

You mention nothing about the bezel.  i didnt know i would need a contortionist (sp)  to make this part usable.  it was all bent out of shape.  wont even screw onto the buckets!  wtf am i supposed to do with this piece of shaZam!?!  My OLD, WRECKED one was better and i PAID you for this??

also now with this tach you sent me.  i havent been able to use it yet because of the bezel but when i put it on we'll see if 1 side is enough to hold it in place.  i suspect not.  

As you can see im pretty bitter about this.  You did say a little something all buttered up with reassurance however it was too late (weeks after payment) and it was very misleading.  Why didnt i just send you a PM?  cause i know you'll do this to someone else if you havent already.  Im disgusted and offended.  

I wouldnt pay more than 10 BUCKS for these parts and im sure no one else would either!  what can we do to fix this problem?  well you can refund all but 10 bucks of my money.  coward.

What looks fine to one man, may not to another. If I can't touch it or see it, I can't convince myself enough to buy it. This is why I do not like ebay, but I do like craigslist. I can at least look for something locally, on craigslist.

but this is a fellow gstwinner.  imho this is unacceptable.

YEa.. those parts look pretty beat. Thats a shame. I agree that you should get a partial refund If no refund.. where is this guy? maybee another member lives close, and can go and "visit" :guns: him and "talk" :guns: about the situation :mrgreen:

That sucks wish I could help out i think he should give you all your money back. That thing looks like $hit. Some people suck, I would hope that I could trust fellow GSers but this A$$HAT (you know who you are) needs a good  :guns:

There was a big blow out a little while ago between Chevelle and roundball (I think thats his name).  I sided with Chev., and talked back and forth with him in PM's, and he seemed like a good guy.  I am surprised at his actions.  Those are not parts but rather garbage.  An absolute rip that must be remedied.

if you want perfect parts buy from a dealer

i mean you paid 10 bucks big f%$king deal the parts are useable

you should have spent the 90 bucks for the bracket and another 200 for the tach if you wanted perfect

in my opinion they were worth every penny
