Hey all

What kind of aftermarket petcock's are made? where can I get one ASAP? I am having fuel starvation issues and I want to get rid of the OEM one  :thumb:  Do they make em w/ dual inlets?... so you dont have to cap off reserve? I just want an OFF/ON I guess :) no fancy vacuum crap!

Thanks

Check out this thread.

If you can't afford a Pingel petcock, there are some cheaper alternatives that you can try, all the way from these units (image was scanned from a Dennis Kirk catalog a few years ago) ...

... to a lawn mower petcock, readily available at your nearest home & garden center:

As far as keeping the REServe capability, see this post for my (so far theoretical) idea.

Awesome Kerry, Thanks!

I have another question now too. The shut off on the tank!?! It doesnt seem to shut anything off.. it just slows down the flow a little. I must have wasted like 3 gal. of gas last night trying to remove my old plastic filter !?! Anyone else have that prob?

The tank shut-off is "on" when the slot is in line with the outlet.  It is "off" when you turn it 90 degrees - I bet you turned it further.
