Anyone installed the acerbis blitz headlight on the GS? direct bolt on ... anything I should look out for?

I have been looking at different headlights to use on my XR.

I had the Acerbis Diamond on my CBR. Installations is VERY straight forward and VERY simple. Here is a pic of it:

dan..how is it that acerbis headlight for night riding?...dont really do much rding when dark (all black gear)...but i sometimes get off from work late... ( :guns: damn dispatch  :x )

Its REALLY REALLY bright, lol. No worries about night riding there.

there are a few for sale on Ebay for aound $40 I think ... I m thinking of maybe goin with Buell dual headlights instead .... anyone use those? hw much do they cost and how is installation?

I have the buell lightning dual headlights on my bike and am very happy with them.  MUCH brighter and much more focused than the GS headlight.  I think it's a solid cosmetic upgrade, too.

I've got a Blitz on my semi-tard, and it sucks for night riding anywhere that there's no street lights.  The high and low beam are identical, and I couldn't find a way to wire it so that low beam used one light and high beam used both.
