OK I hope its not contagious ... but the Charlotte Cycle gear clowns are morons ... OK so are some of the other dealer's sales desk Pimp Jockeys ... but those moron's are a special case of moron's who pretend to know stuff.
Now on a side note ... Chevelle used to work at one of the Atlanta Cycle gear stores (they have more than 1 in Atl )
Now Sacramento (used to be on Watt and 80 - later moved to that other place by Good Times Kawasaki), Concord (I used to live 1/2 block from there) and Hayward ones were cool and there was this Chick at the sac store who'd kick most guys I know in moto knowledge. Not just the latest crap, I mean she could look at somehting and say what else from what bike can be modded to fit ... and how to mod it ... So I wish ya the best of working companions.

well it cant be all bad...i'm still there.  you will deal with a lot of stupid people.  you will deal with a lot of cheap people.  you will deal with a lot of rude people as well.  sometimes you will hate it, but thats just the nature of retail.  

as far as the job goes, its cool.  it can be hard (between the phone ringing off the hook, helping people, and skuing/tagging merch) but most of the time our store is dead.  kiss your weekends goodbye because you almost have to work every weekend unless you have some prior agreement to do so.  

and yes the discount is sweet.  i think thats whats kept me there.  FYI, i have spend about 1/5 of my pay there this year, so get ready.  but once again, congrats and welcome aboard
