Yeah I somewhat agree with this guy...  I would not ride in a large metro city, my hat goes off to you guys and gals that do.  I am still debating riding again in the small rural area that I live.  Traffic stinks, its getting worse, and so are cell phones, pda's, dvd's and who knows what else can distract drivers.

it's so much fun with all the cars and the trucks cutting you off. today I was bored and was out playing around oh and for the local sd riders the ramp from 8E to 163N is lots of fun when you split it.

Its just a giant game of dodge ball...except if you get hit you lose. Traffic is an everyday thing here in cali, just gotta deal with it. Right now my bike is my only vehicle (bad idea on my part, I can see its going to bite me in the ass) I split every day in long lines of traffic near where I work downtown (downtown being like 3 miles away from my house in our small town). Fresno is the same. I havent had the joyous opportunity to ride in LA or SD yet, but hopefully I can tailgate Tony up on one of these trips soon to check out SD again, I enjoyed it last time.
