My girl and I got engaged in June.  This will be #1 for her and #2 for me.

I was married 3 months...... but dated for 7.5 years.  Been dating the girl i am with now for almost 8 months.  Life is good

I married my high school sweetheart on 18 Dec 1993.  I was 21, she was 20.  The first time I saw her, I told my best friend that I was going to marry her.  He said that she was out of my league.

My husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary on July 31st. We have been together for 8 years, it took him 6 years to finally ask me to marry him. I'm hapily married, so I guess the old adage of "Good things come to those who wait" can be true.

This is a first for both of us. I'm almost 34, he just turned 36.
So we can't say that we rushed into it or that we were too young.  :lol:
Now we just have to wait until I graduate and start working then we can think about starting a family before we are too old for it.

I'm not into that divorce stuff either. It's especially difficult on the children. And now my teenaged son is talking about getting married at 19....
