I hope you are also locking the bike to an immovable object with those Ti locks? otherwise they'll just pick the bike up, locks and all, and shove it into a van.

.

A friend of mine uses the titanium locks.  I do not do anything other than locking the forks of the bike.  If they want to steal it that bad,  I have full coverage insurance with a $100 deductable.  I would just go buy a Katana or SV650S with the insurance money.  They would be helping me move on up.

Wow!  That is south OP!  Or Tulsa.

I've got tickets to 311 tonight in the river market.  Walking distance from my new place.

I'm stoked.

Personally:

home =  2 car garage & GUNZ

work = guarded security gate

On the road = park where bike will be visible if possible & GUNZ

If you have to park where you wouldn't hear an alarm, try one with a pager. If that won't work try tying a badger to your bike at night on a fairly short leash so as to minimize the chance of lawsuit. :roll: Then just anesthetize him and put him in a cage when you're ready to ride. :thumb:

At home I have a couple of groundbolts to chain to, street furniture is always good. A really tatty old cover with slug trails on it and a bit of black plastic, roundish, underneath to look like an oil patch works wonders.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

What you're not watching the Chiefs? Big stoner!!   :mrgreen:

It amazes me the urban sprawl of KC.  I lived in midtown and now North of the river, and I can't believe there is anything beyond 95th St.  But apparently there is a lot goin on further south than that.

Jake, do you ever and get out and ride?  Haven't heard if your bike is running yet.

Dude.  We're getting close.  It has been torn down all the way three times now.  Still having oil presure problems at idle.  I am about a week away from getting it back together 100%.

As for the Chiefs, I am sort of pissed about that, but I'll TiVo it and no worries.  A friend is in from New Zealand and he has never seen a "American concert", so. . .

When my bike gets done, we will go ride.  I saw a GS on I-70 yesterday, heading east right under the Troost overpass.  But I think it was an '01.

... see "Anybody else not particularly like the white rims?" thread.  I'm sure a few thieves have thought "hmmm, I'd like to steal that bike, but how much would I have to spend to repaint those ugly-ass rims?... oh wait, there's an R6 a few spots over, I'll take that instead."

the only other bike in the area (where I park at night) is a candy-ass-color-schemed 1989 Honda VTR 250 - perhaps thats why some interest has been taken to my bike.

A few friends of mine hang out at a BP station at 75th and Quivera all the time.  They're the one's you might've seen riding around on Black R1's and CBR1000RR's in shorts, t shirts, and sometimes helmets.  I've haven't ridden with them in a good month, Im thinkin thats not so bad..
