What is an average price to pay for a 1989 top triple tree with clip ons?

I found one and the dude told me to make him an offer he could not refuse?

What have some of you paid for one of these?

I seem to remember one of the members, possibly a Guru having a price guide on his website, search might find it.

I did a search.  1st was 1923 found next was 1909 results found. After 10 pages of looking I gave up and posted my question..

I have seen them go for 100 ... I dont think they're worth more than 40 ... cos that's what 2 welds cost and they are better ... BTW 04 wont fit 89 clip on's directly, hits the tank ... ask fettcols or tarzanboy/cheesy. The handles need banana'ed out ...

i paid about $50.  they WILL fit an 01+ style tank, but if you turn it full lock, you will smash your thumb.

You need Banana tubes ... $15 ... No more beep beep ...
BTW the flange show up BlazinJr ... cos the others got it ... a month late but got it.

No I have not got the other flange yet.  If/when I get it I will let you know so I can send it out to you or to another buyer.

I've purchased two sets both for about the $65 range. Both sets had crap for tubes, the first they were missing and the second set was bent.

As for the hitting the tank issue... I'm going to get around to reshaping the mounts a little, just haven't had the time lately.
