I have a friend who is trying to get some Kilkenny Ale, its an ale that is brewed by guinness but only in canada and the UK, they dont even import it because it would compete with another ale they release here.  

Can anyone come across a case of this stuff?  Let me know how much it is and how much it would be to ship to california.  Id greatly appreciate it.

I can't seem to find any information about shipping beer to the US.  So this is what I'll do.  I'll pick up a set of four ($9.99CDN), take it to the local post office and try to have it shipped.  I think it'll cost about $15CDN for shipping.  If they do it, great.  If not, I'll take it home and drink it

..update..

So the experiment worked!  We managed to ship beer (in cans) from Canada to the US.  The gentlemen at the post office suggested that I don't tell him it's beer, and that I write "Sovenir" on the box.   It went through US customs without a hitch.
