I have an 89 with a V&H kit. The center stand is gone. will it not work with the V&H kit? will a 96 center stand fit?

I had a '92 witha V&H, and it had a centerstand. The bike hasn't changed very much, so I don't see why a '96 centerstand wouldn't fit. I say go for it!

If you get the center-stand cheap it is definately worth you $20 bucks or so, just to find out and tell everybody about it.

the v&h system comes with a plate that bolts on to the center stand and works as a stop for the stand.  see ya

Do a search on "center" "stand" "exhaust" and see what people have done.  I put radiator hose on my center stand.
