Wasting server resources with this thread is very shellfish of us. But I only come around here once in a whale anyway, so whatever..

lol..very funny.  Guess my carpy crabs got caught by the inter-net.

Well, i suspected ignition, as I dont think the carbs would be the problems. Choke, throttle, everything else is okay. Here's the test I did.

-I disconnected the left plug wire with the engine running. It continued to run the same.

-I then disconnected the right plug wire with the engine running. It cut off immediately.

I then pulled the left spark plug, and it looked okay. What would be the next step? I know this narrows down something. Thanks a lot!

Get the plug lead and put in a spare spark plug. Put the thread of the spark plug against the engine to complete the circuit and start the engine to see if you get a spark. If you do try it with the other side to compare the strength of the spark.

billyblackout

Yeahp....i get an equal spark on both sides. It looks kinda thin though, I'd best describe it as maybe 1/10 of the size of the spark plug element width. I don't know if it's supposed to be more....

I'm not sure what to do. I checked all my electrical connections, and those are good. All my lines are connected, I dunno why they'd free loose.

When I let the bike sit for a week and a half, the bike was running perfectly. I
hooked the brand new replacement battery back up, and there it goes....running like shaZam!.  Would sitting for a week clog the carbs or a fuel line? What other tests could I run? HELP!!!!

What color was the spark?  That could help tell us if it was weak or not.

The sparks were kinda purple/bluish, to the best of my recollection.
