My Name Is Dave

And there's no proof that he was even smart. I don't know if anyone's actually ever seen him, to be honest. He's a part of American mythology, as are the Jolly Green Giant, dinosaurs, and Burt Reynolds.  ;)

Minor Dave

Roadstergal called me "Minor Dave" earlier, and I think it's funny for one reason or another

Jake D

The Skunk Ape is my favorite American myth.  I was in Florida a couple years ago and we were looking for the Skunk Ape.
With us, we brought:
5 gallon bucket of uncooked lima beans - 1.
Net - 1.
Flash light - 3.
Insect repellant - 1.
Fabreeze - 1.
Pepper spray - 1.
Video camera - 1.

We didn't see him, but an old farmer pulled up in this truck.  He had two crates in the bed of the truck with dogs in them.  The dogs, I could tell, were pit bulls.  He said, "What are you boys doin'?"
I said, "We're looking for the skunk ape, sir."
He said, "Hell, I'm the skunk ape!"  He laughed.
I said, "What kind of dogs are those?"
He said, "Pig killers."
I said, "Welp.  We were just getting ready to take off.  Nice to meet you!"

Many of the ancients believe that Jake D was made of solid stone.

Well, I hate to say it, but my main concern was stoppies and the front forks folding in on themselves or the frame cracking when landing a 12 o'clock stunt. I didn't ONLY mean wheelies. I also figured that if ANYONE at all was out there stunting, I could find out about gearing and ponies and any other help I might find. I do know for a fact that one cool thing about the GS is it's wieght advants against a less flickable bike. Didn't at all mean to hear about Albert calling the entire race stupid, and some pig f%$king ape skunk. lol.

A search for "stoppies" would get you what you want.

The rear brake is a good way to come down really quick and pop a fork seal. The proper way to do it is do it slowly increasing the wheel hight. I learned on a dirtbike because its easier and they crash cheaply, aka they crash and you pick it up again... although I never crashed.

Wheelies are definitely fun, but as everyone said, traffic isn't the place to do em. I mostly learned because if you can't wheelie or bump the rear wheel up to clear things on a dirtbike you're not an effective trail rider... it just transfered over.
