My brother got here tonight with the GS, the pictures don't do it justice!!! Rode about 15 min., a nice feeling bike.  Wind is a little on the brutal side, but no problem for a ride to work machine.  Sprint_9 did an amazing job rebuilding this bike.  But it managed to find just about every bug from Iowa to Virgina.  I am more than pleased with the workmanship on every detail.  From the wheels to the paint, perfection!!  I don't notice any flat spot any where in the power band, but this is the first time I've been on a bike in many years.  And at my age, injuries take much longer to heal.  Besides I don't want any damage to perfection.

Again, thanks for the straight deal and great work sprint_9, your baby has a good home down south.

Post New pics! :thumb:

You get used to the wind...  Now I don't notice it until about 80ish (40 used to seem windy  )...  When I drive my car or SUV, I have to roll the window down or I forget that I'm moving.

Cool!!! The wind is something you get used to but if becomes something you just can't stand a windscreen is good investment.  It helps the gas mileage too.

First time I hit 100km/h I thought the wind was intense.  But now, after many rides, it feels normal.  Wearing all the right equipment also helps.

Yep, she is a good ole bike, I bet you think its hard to believe a 20 year old kid did that good of a job on his bike,   I guess I just like my things nice, you will have many good times to come on that bike, I know I sure had a bunch.

Jimbo you need to post up some new pics when you get it all cleaned up, I want to see some that someone else has taken besides me.

Hey, congrats on the new bike, and welcome to the board! I'm glad you got such an awesome bike. It's a good thing you got one in a great condition!

In case you didn't know, here's one of the most important things on the board, the Search function! http://gstwins.com/forum/search.php

Just got in long enough to get online.  More time riding than online!!  Will try to get some pics tomorrow after I finish cleaning and finishing my 77 p/u.  Might try and get a group one (if any one cares about old trucks).  Noticed the bike is the color I was going to paint the 77, it is a different shade than my wife's neon.  Will have a great group when I get around to painting the truck, bike and truck the same color.  But that will be a couple years, need to get the Impala finished before the truck.

Absolutely get a group shot! We like pictures of whole stables!  :thumb:

I get blamed for EVERYTHING around here!
:woohoo:

The whole stable is too much work, the trucks stay outside.  I have 2 cars in the garage, and 2 trucks outside with the driver cars.  But the bike sleeps in the garage.
