I feel like people can't even tell that I'm a girl on my bike in gear, but I don't really pay attention to other people when I'm riding b/c I know that would be the moment I drop my bike.  I don't know...I do remember being whistled at, at every red light down rt 9, by this nasty old guy in a beat up old van.  It was obnoxious and I wished my boyfriend was there the whole time. I enjoy his attention while riding  

On another note, I remember him telling me that he rides during one of our first conversations, and I don't think it really made a difference in how much I liked him.  It was very exciting though when we would go riding on it during those first few months. (before I ever thought about getting my own)
