my wife went to joann fabrics and bought like 8 yards of the exact same material as my seat had on it for like 20 bucks. she took off the old cover and laid it on the material and made an outline to match it. we then laid it outside int he sun for about 45 minutes so it was nice and supple and she stretched it over the pad and I stapled it. There was a little wrinkle right where I sit so she sprayed a little spray adhesive on there and then stretched it tight.  It's been awesome for two years now, and I abuse the hell out of it by leaving it sit out in the rain and sun and everything.  I have a few pics of the material and how she did the outline somewhere if anyone is interested.

JakeD-getting your nipple pierced is not crazy. Killing a drifter to get an errection? Now that's crazy!

that seat looks awesome. better than my stock seat and looks a little less slippery and a little more classy

Jared

The seat looks pretty nice...( I do upholstery...)...

The factory stuff isn't Naugahyde (which is essentially a brand name..) but a thinner material with less backing (much more stretchy...easier to install). Holds up pretty well actually...

The seams and topstiching look nice--but every stitch is a place for water to get in and raised areas are places for wear to show up first ( the top stitched areas that  your legs etc rub..). Looks like they did a fine Job tho...

Did you install the cover yourself?

I am very impressed with that seat. I think it looks great. The stiching really gives it a nice look. A nice use of seventy bucks. Maybe I'll get mine redone.
