Dont be like this guy... Please keep both of your wheels on the ground, and your butt on the seat.... the bike handles so much better that way.

(warning: not for those with a weak stomach)

but wheelies and stoppies are sooo cooool.... lol

But seriously.. I've seen so many people loop out that its not even funny...i'm well aware of what kind of possible consequences come with riding and occasional stunts (which are a rare occurence) and wear full  (good)  gear almost every time I leave my driveway... when i'm not wearing much gear (for me thats jacket boots lid and gloves) I watch my riding alot more.

no, just nearly severed his foot at the ankle. if he didn't jack up the nerves or blood supply too badly he'll keep the foot

(in his case he may have had a fracture higher depending on how he landed, but in most cases this should help)

this just reinforces my idea of staying away from other bikers (except on a forum like this or when a biker on the road needs help).

the power of the 'brotherhood' is strong for the weak of mind, and they end up doing stunts and things like that for no good reason... other than showing their friends how 'cool' they are.
do they really think their 'amazing' stunts will impress a movie producer or something?

So far, I've failed to see any group of riders (usually travelling in packs of 3) riding safely on the streets. Usually they rev the engines, do small wheelies, speed up like maniacs from the stop lights at the green...

It appears that most of these overgrown kids can't keep their hands from pulling the throtle too hard. Or maybe it's just the 'sports-bike syndrome' (haven't seen such foolish behaviour in more standar -non-sport bikes).

rant over.
Caturday yet?

 What an idiot!!!  Did the camera guy pass out at the end of the video?

Got off easy! Next time he'll do it on a Busa without a helmet!

that video says it all, I see it way too much, people ride outside of thier limits. What if he had pulled that wheelie on the Interstate like I have seen some do? He could have been run over, or killed. At any rate that foot and leg are going to take a long time to heal, that is if he gets to keep it.

Just reafirms my statement that people are idiots. I've seen a lot of videos of people doing that sort of stuff, and consequently, a lot of people getting seriously injured. Yeah it sucks that he might lose his foot, but that's the risk he took when he did that stupid $&!@ he did. Like subc, I don't see why people do that, at least without complete gear on. It seems kinda pointless to me...

I don't have a problem with people stunting, hell I might do some wheelies and stoppies if I had a capable bike and a deserted location.  It looks like they at least picked a location with no traffic.  Failed miserably on the proper riding gear part though   While I think alot of squids stunt to impress the onlookers, I think there are some that do it for their own stimulation, knowing they might wreck their bikes or themselves. :dunno:  Some take risks, others avoid it.
